Residential
House with a View
2380 Palomar sits on a promontory above the Ventura coast. The house is organized around a single governing idea: every inhabited room should have access to light and the distant horizon. Doors open outward toward the view. At dusk, the interior glows against the sky. The palette is restrained. White cladding, dark trim, simple volumes. Glazing details dissolve the wall at the moments that matter most. The landscape does the work. A project about openness, horizon, and the quiet pleasure of being above the fog line.
